How do I add my profile in a free or a paid service?

To add your profile, click on the Add Profile link. Give all the necessary as well as optional details asked in the form. After you submit your information, your profile will be automatically created. Once you submit your profile thank you message will be displayed on the screen and a confirmation mail will be sent to your mailbox if you provide the correct email ID. It will be evaluated by our team and it will be made online after the evaluation. Normally evaluation process takes 1 to 24 hours in weekdays and upto 48 hours in weekends.

How do I modify my profile information?

Login and select the Modify your profile option. Make changes in your profile. Click on the 'Modify Profile' button to post the changes.

What does Registration No. stand for?

When you add your profile, a registration number will be assigned to your profile automatically. You need this registration number for future reference.

What does User Id stand for?

When you add your profile, a user Id will be assigned to your profile automatically. You need this to log into your account.

Where do I enter my expectations of an alliance?

When you select the Add Profile option, a form will be displayed. All you have to do is fill in your expectations in the 'Desired Match' field. Try to be specific, as a good description in the "Desired Match" field will yield good results. Don't add your E-mail id or website address in your this field.

How do I add a photo and horoscope to my profile?
Log in using your userID and password from the home page. You will be taken to a page that lists the various operations that you can perform. Select the Add 3 Photos option. 
To add your photo, click the 'Browse' button and select the digital photograph (scanned photograph in jpg /gif format) to be included. Click Add Photo to include your photo in your profile. Similarly to add horoscope, select Add Horoscope option.

I do not have a digital photo. How do I add my photo?

If you do not have a digital (scanned) photo you can send your photo/horoscope to our office.

Login from the home page and Choose the Upgrade to Paid Service option. Otherwise click here for the different payment options available.

What are the different payment methods?

How do I view a particular profile?

Select the View Known Profile option and enter the registration no. of the profile to view the details of that profile.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click on the Forgot Password link in the home page and enter your E-mail address and User Id. Your password will be mailed to you immediately.

I forgot my User ID. What should I do?

Click on the Forgot Password link in the home page and enter either your E-mail address. Your User Id will be mailed to you immediately.

How do I bookmark profiles?

When you search the profiles and find a matching profile, click on the Bookmark this profile option to add the profile to your list of bookmarked profiles. An image will be displayed before the Bookmarked profile(s) during your Search and View options to indicate that you have bookmarked this profile.

How do I ignore profiles?

When you search the profiles and find a profile is not suitable to you, you can click on the Ignore this profile option. The image will be displayed before the Ignored profile(s) during your Search and View options to indicate the profile was ignored by you.

How do I edit book-marked profiles?

Login and select the Edit Bookmark option. Add or delete User ID's and click 'Update Bookmarks' button.

How do I edit ignored profiles?

Login and select the Edit Ignored List option. Add or delete User IDs and click on the 'Update Ignored List' button.

I want to change my password. How can I do it?

Log on with your username and existing password. Click on "Change Password" in your page. A form will be displayed. In the fields "Choose Password" and "Confirm Password", replace your existing password with your new password and click on "Submit". Your new password is activated. The next time you log on to your page, you will have to use this new password.

What is "Change Profile Status"?

Your profile status can be set as either 'Open' or 'On Hold'. By default, the profile status is 'Open'. Setting the profile status to 'On Hold' makes your profile unavailable to others. But you will be able to login and contact other profiles. If you want others to view your profile, select the "open" option and click on "set profile status".

Search is not getting any results. What should I do?

Please check your search criteria. If you are searching for a particular caste, try rephrasing your spellings. We suggest you use either partial names or try all the possible spellings in the caste field, for example: Brahmin, Bramin, Iyer, etc. to get particular caste profiles. If you used date options in the search, please check the dates entered.

How can I improve my chances of finding a match?

Try to give a clear self-description in the "More about you and your family" field. Enter your expectations clearly and completely in the "Desired Match" field. Add your photo to your profile as profiles with photos get a better response. Login often to update your profile, which makes your profile stay on the top of the search.

How can I contact the other members?

Search through our voluminous database. When you wish to contact a profile, click on the Contact this profile option to send an E-mail to the profile. Paid members have an advantage as they can contact thousands of profiles from all over the world.


How do I remove my profile?

Login and select the Remove Profile option. State the reason for deletion and click on the 'Delete Profile' button to remove your profile from our database.

I did not receive any response for my profile.

On the average, around 1% of the profiles were entered with misspelled E-mail address or wrong E-mail address. If you did not receive any E-mail from our system, please login using your User Id and Password on the home page and click on the Modify Profile option to correct the E-mail address.

How do I add my success story?

If your marriage has been arranged through our service and you want to share your success story with us, then click here to add it on our site. Your success story is our key motivation. Once you send in your story, you will automatically enter our Lucky Draw, held every year. First and second prizewinners will be selected from the couples who marry through our service.
