TURKISH PORRIDGE

Wheat (Prepared)

200gms

Mutton

¼ Kg

Small onion chopped

2tsp

Big Onion

Turmeric powder

1 pinch

Cinnamon

1 stick

Ghee

2 tblsp

Fried cashew

Fried Almonds

Raisins

Water

       Cook wheat with mutton, big onion and cinnamon in sufficient water till wheat is very soft. Remove from fire and mash well till it looks like porridge. Heat ghee in a pan, fry chopped onions till golden brown. Add the ghee and onion to the mashed wheat and stir. Serve piping hot with more ghee and sugar. Toss in the fried nuts
      Serve them in those small earthenware pots. Or you could have a different kind of ‘Potluck’ by eating out of the same pot. Now doesn’t that sound yummm….
